VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN DISHES

Litvaks were Lithuanian Jews, who lived in the territory of the historic Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Litvak and Lithuanian cuisines have mingled over time as Lithuanian women helped in Jewish kitchens to learn the secrets of cooking and improve their cooking skills. Zeppelins, currently one of the most popular local dish, were first made by Litvaks around 150 years ago.
